Hi, Krishna,

As long as you are not getting a modern TFS camera that is meant to be integrated
into the microscope interface, cameras comes with its own PC, and their most import
interaction with the scope, the shutter control, is done through hardware. Therefore, you
should have no problem with XP. You just want to make sure XP computer is well shielded
from internet traffic.

As far as automation, you should check if the scope has TEM Scripting Access. That is
required by all automation software.

Best,

Anchi
