Hello 3DEM Community,

Generating high-quality 3D volumes from cryo samples in the FIB-SEM is highly desirable, yet obtaining clear SEM images remains challenging. Charging effects often degrade image quality, which in turn compromises 3D reconstructions. Cumulative electron dose is another persistent concern.

King’s College London is tackling these issues — dose, imaging time, and charging — using SenseAI.

Sparse sampling combined with AI inpainting using SenseAI is a powerful approach that significantly reduces electron dose and charging while also shortening imaging time. Professor Roland Fleck from King’s College London has been applying SenseAI to generate cryo FIB-SEM data and will be presenting his work during a webinar this Thursday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM ET.

If you’re looking to improve the quality of your cryo SEM imaging, you won’t want to miss this presentation. Please register using the link below. We look forward to seeing you there!
