Hello Marion
We have Cressington Turbo Carbon Coater 208 Carbon in Pasteur: we use it only to carbon coat grids for SPA with rods. We control by eyes the thickness
We also have the Leica ACE 600 but we only use it to carbon coat the formvar grids for sections: in my hands the thread never gives me a good quality of carbon.

We have a Cressington Turbo Carbon Coater 208 Carbon and we are very
happy also.
You can combine it with a glow discharge module also.

Leica EM ACE600 didn't work nicely during the demo and I think the
consumables were quite expensive comparing to the carbon rods for
Cressington.
