v4.4 includes major updates for single particle cryo-EM workflows:

   new systems that make it easy to replicate processing you’ve done before.

   - Reference Based Motion Correction

   optimize per-particle motion and improve resolution. It is multi-GPU
   optimized, features a new hyperparameter optimization method, includes
   support for handling multiple 3D classes simultaneously, and provides the
   ability to reuse estimated dose weights on new datasets in Patch Motion
   Correction.
   - Orientation Diagnostics

   a job that computes a set of easily interpretable diagnostics to identify
   orientation bias and anisotropic signal content in 3D refinement results.
   - Other updates include: Non-uniform Refinement is now ~2x faster,
   3DFlex supports CTF aberrations during reconstruction, new symmetry
   relaxation tools for pseudo-symmetry, float16 support, AFIS beam shift
   import and clustering, bundled CUDA toolkit, and much more!
