Dear colleagues,

The department of Structural Biology at Genentech is looking for a
computational researcher to join its cryoEM team. Full details and a link
to apply are below:

https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.gene.com/careers/detail/202104-110437/cryoEM-Scientific-Researcher-Computational__;!!Mih3wA!TbvFCvqhSyQG9TbEsahswsHLX2wzmFEgjug1okcdSpJHkYEwu3oghpFJ239H8zPodQ$

This is a permanent position, which is expected to be >80% computational
and could be a great fit for you if you are a successful research software
engineer who loves image processing. A proven track record devising
algorithms and/or workflows for scientific data analysis in an area related
to structural biology, and expertise in scripting (Python or similar) or
programming (C++, C#, Julia, or similar), are required. Expertise in
high-resolution single-particle cryoEM image processing would be
advantageous.

Genentech provides an inclusive, welcoming, and collaborative environment
that will foster your future career in drug discovery as well as your
academic development. You’ll collaborate with many teams and colleagues
from Structural Biology and other departments on a wealth of projects to
achieve scientific insights into health and disease. Your ideas, code, and
ingenuity will enable the discovery of life-changing medicines.

I’d be happy to answer informal enquiries by email directly.

Cheers,

Alexis
