Dear Daniel, most definitely we do not want an Abbe criterion. It is characteristic of imaging device, does not account for alignment procedures, SNR, and finally, as Marin already pointed out, simple filtration would change the outcome. So no, not everybody wants it. Regards, Pawel Penczek
