[3dem] desktop TEMs

Hello 3demers,

Does anyone have any experience using/owing a low-voltage “desktop” TEM? I see there are some 25 keV ones available and they seem to work fine for large negatively stained samples such as viruses and phages. But, I am wondering how successful they are for small protein complexes or membrane proteins?

Any user feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Kristin
