Dear All,
I would like to bring to your attention a fake meeting registration request
ongoing via Linkedin. Please beware of any emails sent by someone in favor
of CPG Scientific Events.

I was contacted on Linkedin by Visalakshmi Gadadasu from Bengaluru India
saying that she saw my profile and wanted to invite me as a speaker for a
structural biology meeting in Europe and asked for an abstract. .She is
accompanied by Aurora Shae I checked CPG websites and nothing seemed hoax
until today.

Thankfully I had just submitted the abstract and within a day it was
accepted and now they want me to submit money to proceed.

This is where I felt it is a hoax as they have sent a Paypal link. I had
used Paypal link once to buy something from India and my account got hacked.

So please beware of such hoaxes especially it applies for young
early-career scientists who are trying to create an impression. I wanted to
bring this to everyone's attention.

Best regards,
Sanchaita
