Hi all,
Are there any provisions for decontamination of microscopes while working
with BSL2 samples.
We have been working before with proteins for Single particle analysis, I
wonder while bringing BSL2 designated specimen such as viruses, how
people do decontamination of the Plunger, transfer-station, cassette,
capsule adversely affecting all and the microscope.
It might be one can have separate zone with plunger, transfer-station,
cassette and capsule for BSL2 work flow, how one deal with Microscope
decontamination.
Our sample Preparation room is under positive pressure for humidity and
temperature control, though we can practice BSL2 safety procedures, are
there any limitations.
We need to document it for the Environment and Safety organization at
University.

All suggestions and advise are welcome.

Thank you,
Best regards
Puneet
