Dear Angela,
No. We had given the required document clearance for many
participants around the world and there were participants from USA,
Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Italy, UK who got visa on time and they
attended the courses. Also, many speakers all around the world came
with the required papers we sent to them. We had given you the same
papers. So it is not a problem specific to India. What went wrong in
your case should be discussed not in 3dem group, I guess.
Again, the last-minute visa is not specific to India. I and my
friends have got a conference/short term visit Visa for many countries in
the last minute as you say. I have particularly experienced that with few
countries.
I think it is not a good idea to discuss these few issues in the
3dem public group. I think we should discuss only the science here. Sorry
I had to reply for other emails as you had raised an issue in a public
forum and I had to clarify it. I hope we can discuss only the science
here. Any concerns please write to me in person and not to 3dem.
