Dear Gabor and Sara,
Indeed it is a big problem for scientists not only in India
but it happens throughout the world. I have heard similar stories from
scientists in India for conference visa application to USA and other
countries around the world, ultimately as you said wasting a lot of time
and money.
I wish the situation improves for scientists around the world.
I hope a day will come when scientists can go to conferences in
other countries without visas ..!! I guess some countries have that
already.
