We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral fellow with biochemistry background to join the lab of Wei Lü<https://lulab.vai.org/> at Van Andel Research Institute<http://www.vai.org/> in Grand Rapids, MI.



The Lü Lab uses a multidisplinary approach of single particle cryo-EM, patch clamp electrophysiology, and other complimentary techniques to investigate the molecular structure, biological and pathological functions, as well as the pharmacology of ion channel and transmembrane receptors that are linked to neurological and cardiovascular diseases (for recent publications see: https://www.nature.com/articles/nature24674, https://elifesciences.org/articles/36852).



The cryo-EM facility at VARI hosts the state of the art electron microscopes (Titan Krios, Talos Arctica) equipped with K2 and Falcon3 detectors. The K2 detector will be upgraded to K3 this year.
