Dear Reza,

sxvar.py is meant to compute variance and eigenvolumes (i.e., it will do PCA and return eigenvectors)
of a set of volumes emerging from bootstrap approach. However, it can be used to compute variance
(and eigenvolumes) of any set of volumes. There is also sxpca.py that will simply compute PCA.

However, it you are interested in just the variance, this can be easily done within an interactive session of sx.py.

Please write directly if you need more help.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend software that can calculate variance maps among several dozens of volumes? I’m aware of sxvar.py from Sparx. Thanks.

Best wishes,
Reza
