[3dem] CryoEM Faculty Position at UCSF

The Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (IND) in association with the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics seek to hire an experienced cryoElectron Microscopist to join a cohesive and independent group of scientists interested in the discovery of causative mechanisms and therapeutics related to prion diseases. No prior experience in neuro-degenerative diseases is required. This is a tenure track faculty position with an appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.  Both junior-level and established scientists are encouraged to apply. This effort will expand upon the extensive cryo-EM and structural and mechanistic biology efforts already well established at UCSF Mission Bay. The candidate will also be part of the vibrant Bay Area cryoEM community.
