We have homemade holey carbon grids protocol using Japanese/Triafol Method. The protocol can be download in our NYSBC websites: http://www.nysbc.net/twiki/bin/view/Main/TwodxCryoLogBook. I am currently making the grids using this protocol. Please ask me any questions you might have.
