[3dem] Tomography on older jeol machines - 2010 & 2011

Has anyone any experience on getting tomography to run with non commercial software on the 2010f or 2011 - sadly we're not compatible with SerialEM. I've got James and MrT set up and although they control the specimen tilt and shutters fine, none of the tracking appears to work. I'm hoping there's something I've missed in the setup, failing that are there other software options out there?
