[3dem] CCD retracted when emptying buffer tank

Dear Lister,

Our FEI T12 received a software upgrade to Tecnai 4.2. Coming with it there
is a unexpected 'feature' (according to FEI): The CCD camera is retracted
when the emptying buffer tank start to run, but NOT reinserted afterwards.
Such behaviour totally defeats any intention of running unsupervised
automatic data collection, including FEI's own software. I am wondering if
anyone else had similar experience and how to get around of it. Your help
is appreciated.
