I am looking to fill a post-doctoral position in my research group with a
qualified and motivated individual, at the end of 2011. Research in our
group uses single particle methods of structural EM, X-ray
crystallography, and diverse biochemical approaches to study the function
of important macromolecular machines.

Our research projects include studies of complexes that are involved in
protein translocation and biogenesis and studies of procaspase activation
platforms (known as apoptosomes), in the intrinsic cell death pathway.
Additional details of our research are available on-line at the following
sites:

Our laboratory is in the Center for Advanced Biochemical Research on the
Medical Campus of Boston University, located on the southeast side of
Boston.

Interested persons should contact Dr. Christopher Akey (cakey at bu.edu) for
further details.
