Hi,

Recently, I asked a about cameras for TEM, as we are considering
upgrading the camera in our microscope and got quite few very useful
responses (thanks!). The new kids on the block seem to be the direct
electron detection systems which seems to provide much improved MTFs
over the previous cameras using an intermediate light emission step.
I wonder if anyone has experience with these newer cameras that they
could share. I realize that these systems are relatively new and that
not many labs outside the ones developing the cameras may have had
access to one. In any case I'll be interested in hearing any comments.

Thanks

Hernando
