Liz,

Our FEI water chillers are hooked up to the house chilled water. We
have a set of valves that allows us to move to water that pours down
the drain, so to speak, if the house chilled water goes out or is
scheduled to be down for some reason. It allows us to "open the loop"
so we can keep going. I've only had to move over to the water wasteful
way 2-3 times in 8 years and those were scheduled. It's a good back-up
to work into yours system so your scopes don't have to be down if
house water goes down.

Good luck!
Cindi
