	The laboratory of Daniel Feldheim in the Department of Chemistry and  
Biochemistry at The University of Colorado in Boulder (http://www.colorado.edu/chem/feldheimlab/ 
)  has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow to work on new  
biochemical methods for protein visualization and identification with  
electron tomography. This NIH-funded project is in collaboration with  
The Boulder Laboratory for 3D Electron Microscopy of Cells (http://bio3d.colorado.edu/ 
) and the Jensen Lab at Cal Tech (http://www.jensenlab.caltech.edu/).  
The ideal candidate will have experience in electron microscopy and  
protein engineering.

	Boulder, Colorado is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains,  
and supports a vibrant scientific community which includes three  
national laboratories, the University of Colorado, and a substantial  
industrial/startup science community (Roche Colorado, Array Biopharma,  
Medtronic, SomaLogic, Amgen, etc.).  Three Nobel Laureates in the  
sciences are on faculty at the University.
	In addition to the vibrant science community, Boulder enjoys 300 days  
of sunshine each year and offers outstanding outdoor recreation  
opportunities, including world-class skiing, rock climbing, and  
mountain biking.
