Very pleased to announce cryoDuck Okinawa Days 2027: The Art of the
Possible in Cryo-EM, co-hosted with OIST and JEOL.

*Okinawa | April 12–14, 2027*

The meeting focuses on the future of academic facilities and industrial
cryo-EM: what the technique can do today, what it will do next, and how to
put it in the hands of more people.

Okinawa is home to the world's only 300 kV narrow-gap cryo-EM microscope at
the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.

The third conference day is a joint cryoDuck × OIST × JEOL day on campus,
with a visit to the microscope and keynotes from across the field,
including speakers invited by OIST and JEOL.

Because JEOL holds its CryoARM User Meeting in Okinawa straight after
(April 15–16, for JEOL users), cryoDuck Days will bring together people
from afar and from across the region.
