Dear Martin,
At our site, we use a two-tank changeover manifold. Two 350 psi 230L tanks are connected to the manifold. You can swap either tank without interrupting pressurized gas delivery, so you can get continuous flow indefinitely. The manifold cost a few hundred dollars.
At one time we had many problems with clogging, but this turned out to be a "last mile" issue where the line between the terminal regulator and the Aquilos itself was made of the wrong plastic so water was diffusing through. When we ran a new length of line those last five feet, our clogging issues resolved. Other sites that have building nitrogen have reported success using an in-line dryer, but because we are getting our nitrogen from liquid boiloff (which is very dry), we haven't needed to add that to the circuit.
Best regards,
Jason Kaelber
