[3dem] Staff Scientist II Position – Yale CryoEM Resource, Yale University

Yale University is recruiting a Staff Scientist II to join the Yale CryoEM Resource (YCR) team and help support our growing cryoEM community.

YCR provides access to advanced cryEM instrumentation and expertise for researchers across the university as well as external users. YCR currently houses five TEMs, including a 300 kV Titan Krios, two 200 kV Glacios systems, a 120 kV Talos L120C, and a 120 kV Tecnai T12. The facility is also equipped with advanced cryoEM sample preparation tools, such as an SPT Labtech Chameleon vitrification system and three Vitrobots. Several empty EM rooms are available for future growth, providing flexibility for new instruments or expanded capabilities.

The Staff Scientist will work closely with the YCR operations team to support instrument operation, user training, and cryoEM sample screening and data collection for a diverse group of researchers.
