Dear Cryo-EM Experts,

I'd like to highlight the unique opportunity in Lausanne, Switzerland. 
The Dubochet Center for Imaging (DCI) in Lausanne is looking for a new platform head. 
The DCI operates three Titan Krios with all bells and whistles, has its dedicated building with outstanding conditions, and provides highest-resolution cryo-EM and cryo-ET service to a large academic and industry community.    

We are looking for a highly qualified cryo-EM expert to lead this platform. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in running a facility, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong expertise in structural biology and state-of-the-art cryo-EM and cryo-ET technologies, at the hardware and software sides. 

I can strongly recommend this position. Lausanne is breathtakingly beautiful, at the shore of Lake Geneva. The water is clean, and swimming in summer during the lunch break is a real pleasure. The surrounding mountains offer excellent skiing in winter and fantastic hiking in summer. The EPFL and the University of Lausanne are excellent research and teaching universities. The quality of life here for a family is outstanding, with excellent public schools. Switzerland is stable, safe, welcoming, and has a strong tradition of peaceful operation, which feels increasingly valuable these days.
