Hi Irwin,
We have a few pairs of these in our facility. New users find them easier to use; those with experience will need an adjustment period. Settings used on the Vitrobot will need to be optimized against which ever pair of tweezers you use (the positioning height of each tweezer is slightly different between the blot pads).
The pros:
1.
easier to let go of the grid.
2.
blunter tips are harder to ruin (better for shared use).
cons:
1.
easier to let go of the grid.
I think it is useful to have both styles of tweezers available.
Best regards
Richard

Subject: [3dem] Nanosoft reverse action tweezers
Hi all,
Has anyone used the Nanosoft reverse action tweezers for plunge freezing with a Vitrobot? How did you find them?
All the best,
Irwin
