Dear in situ structural biology enthusiasts,
The next edition of our conference "In-situ structural biology: expanding the toolbox for structural cell biology" will take place February 4-7, 2025 at the Advanced Training Centre <https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.embl.de/training/eicat/atc/__;!!Mih3wA!G4EmWar90JAeXWnarWl-tIJAzef4otzfv-TlpEWLvm0pGRsUV7SiLPiSFa27efURLmJpmyf6TcwUdVcZbdIEGgTjHKc$ > of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany.
Registration and abstract submission are now open on the website <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.embl.org/about/info/course-and-conference-office/events/iss25-01/?utm_source=EMBL*courses*and*conferences&utm_campaign=18c8fbd78e-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_ISS25-01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_-18c8fbd78e-*5BLIST_EMAIL_ID*5D*vf-tabs__section-overview__;KysrJSUj!!Mih3wA!G4EmWar90JAeXWnarWl-tIJAzef4otzfv-TlpEWLvm0pGRsUV7SiLPiSFa27efURLmJpmyf6TcwUdVcZbdIEFVJSMRI$ >!
In-situ structural biology is a rapidly evolving field in which macromolecular assemblies are mechanistically disentangled within the context of intact cells. Technological advances continue to nurture the development of such in situ structural biology approaches in several disciplines, including cryo-EM/ET, mass spectrometry, fluorescence super-resolution light microscopy, protein structure prediction, and multi-scale computational modelling. This conference aims to bring together established and early career scientists from these separate fields to specifically address the development of integrative in situ approaches that will foster out-of-the-box solutions to address a diverse set of biological questions.
We have an outstanding lineup of speakers. In addition, more than 20 talks will be selected from abstracts in different disciplines and topics, and there will be ample opportunity to present and discuss your work through flash talks and posters (with prizes).
We particularly encourage early career researchers to apply and do not hesitate to apply for travel/financial support.
Cheers, Julia
