Hi David,
I regularly have to adjust the screws in our capsules, no idea why they come loose. Our engineer told me it is crucial that the "pin", that spring mechanism that ensures the cassette is seated correctly and neither too high nor too deep in the capsule, is working freely. So I check/tighten the screws all round evenly, while testing the mechanism to ensure it works fine. No loading issues at all, done this for years now.
Best wishes,
Cornelia

Mariena,
Thanks for that bit of information. I wasn't sure whether the positioning was critical, and now I know.

I echo Bob. Also, there is a height calibration piece that engineers use to set the height properly. When it's wrong, that portion of the capsule will not make proper contact with a sensor in the capsule docking area and your docking will fail. We struggled with this because someone other than the FSE tried to adjust it, and it took a visit from the FSE to find the tool and adjust it again.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [3dem] autoloader hadware question
Hi,
Does anyone happen to know what sort of set screw is on the inside sleeve of a TFS NanoCab? As you can see in this image, they are hard to access and I don't want to strip the head by blindly trying to force a series of different sizes and types into them...

Any input would be appreciated.
