Dear all,

The Department of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is
accepting applications for a postdoc position in computational
single-particle cryo-EM funded by Brummer & Partners MathDataLab. The
project will focus on proving formal uniqueness for Ewald
sphere-corrected reconstruction and methods for direct reconstruction of
the atomic model from projection images using deep neural networks. More
information is found here:

    https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.kth.se/polopoly_fs/1.1038325.1608296349!/mdl_anden_kurlberg_oktem.pdf__;!!Mih3wA!QS6sqognOCbGGK98sNvWyutqhgMZVb_gbcs8v0djGBKgKvQ0mAJ0LX0m27_M3p8SIw$

Candidates with previous experience in single-particle cryo-EM, inverse
problems, complex analysis, representation theory, or machine learning
are invited to apply. Significant programming experience will be
considered as an additional merit.

To apply, please see:

Make sure to specify that you are applying for the project “Uniqueness
and atomic modelling in cryo-electron microscopy”. The deadline is
January 20th.

Best,

Joakim Andén, Ozan Öktem, and Pär Kurlberg
