[3dem] Advancing Diversity in Cryo-EM: PNCC Hosts PAIR-UP Workshop

Dear CryoEM Community,

This October, the Pacific Northwest Cryo-EM Center (PNCC) is excited to host the PAIR-UP group (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.pairupscience.org/__;!!Mih3wA!G0_dKF6uK85g2SzpH6iAMdVBZMRaZzgXE5oUFKsKwDQgBZ6zOih1QLhK4NqL3QdzTcIGZYTf9ii8UIbMeQdV$ ) for a four-day workshop focused on cryo-electron microscopy and data processing. PAIR-UP is a national research community dedicated to advancing the careers of imaging scientists and expanding the scientific workforce.
The workshop will welcome up to 20 researchers from diverse backgrounds, all eager to gain practical experience in cryo-EM. We encourage applications from early-career scientists, graduate students, and postdocs. Beginners in cryo-EM are especially welcome to apply.
Selected participants will receive hands-on training in sample preparation, screening, data collection, and data processing. To support this unique initiative, PNCC will dedicate all of our cryoTEM instruments exclusively to this event.
