[3dem] Postdoc position: in situ structural immunology

Hi all,

We are looking for a postdoc with experience using cryoFIB-SEM and cryo-electron tomography to lead research into the in situ structural biology of the human immune system.

This advert is for an ERC-funded 3-year position using our new Hydra Bio cryoFIB-SEM, currently being installed in Bristol, to prepare samples for structural biology using cryo-electron tomography and cryoEM. The successful candidate will work with immunologists and synthetic biologists to gain a greater understanding of phagocytosis, with the aim to develop new immunotherapeutics able to mimic, inhibit, induce or otherwise modulate the molecular orchestra underlying phagocytosis.
