The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced an experienced Scientist, Electron Microscopy Technology Platfor, to be responsible for the automation and optimization of a cryo-electron tomography (cryoET) data collection pipeline. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cryo-electron microscopy technology, contributing to groundbreaking research and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in structural biology and molecular imaging.

What You’ll Do:
Maintain and curate software applications for the current cryoET data collection pipeline, which includes cryo light microscopes, focused ion beam scanning electron microscopes, and cryo transmission electron microscopes.
Develop and adapt software solutions to improve throughput and overall integration of the data collection workflow.
Coordinate closely with researchers and technology developers to understand their imaging needs and devise tailored solutions to meet those requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of electron microscopy, and integrate these innovations into the facility’s workflows.
