The Opportunity:<br />

We are seeking an experienced an experienced Scientist, Electron Microscopy Technology Platfor, to be responsible for the automation and optimization of a cryo-electron tomography (cryoET) data collection pipeline. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cryo-electron microscopy technology, contributing to groundbreaking research and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in structural biology and molecular imaging.<br />

What You’ll Do:<br />

Maintain and curate software applications for the current cryoET data collection pipeline, which includes cryo light microscopes, focused ion beam scanning electron microscopes, and cryo transmission electron microscopes.<br />

Develop and adapt software solutions to improve throughput and overall integration of the data collection workflow.<br />

Coordinate closely with researchers and technology developers to understand their imaging needs and devise tailored solutions to meet those requirements.<br />

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of electron microscopy, and integrate these innovations into the facility’s workflows.<br />
