The Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of Rochester
School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for a tenure-track
faculty position, preferably at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants
with interests in any area of biochemistry and biophysics are encouraged to
apply, especially those with interests in signaling pathways and membrane
proteins, and those using structural or computational methods.
The department offers an outstanding research environment with established
strengths in RNA biology, structural and functional characterization of
molecular interactions, computational biology, genomics, biophysical
chemistry, and metabolomics. In addition, the Rochester, NY area is an
exceptional place to live, featuring affordable housing and many local
parks.
