Hello Guy,

I had a TF20 operating on Win2K, we added a bottom mount TVIPS XF416 that we still have in a box now. It worked great with SerialEM, in addition both remote servers from Teitz and SerialEM were solid even on Win2K.

Dear Colleagues,

We have a T12 equipped with an Orius 1000 camera running Windows XP.
This camera is aging and we're thinking of changing it. TFS no longer
offers upgrades to Windows 7. So we'll have to turn to a third-party
camera manufacturer and an additional PC to communicate with the T12 via
Tempscrippting or advanced Temscripting. Do you have any advice on which
camera would be optimal for negative staining and plastic cell sections
imaging?

Thank you

Best

Hi Guy,

We have a Rio9 on our BioTwin (T12) and works great. Not terribly expensive and works good for room temp work.

Best,

Mariena

Hi Guy,
We have a Gatan XP1000 on our T12. Works great with our antiquated Win2k computer.

Hi Guy,

We've recently upgraded to an AMT Nanosprint 15 on our microscope and it's
been great.
Sensitive enough for screening cryo samples too if that's something you're
planning to do.

Best regards,
Julian
