MIMS is the Swedish node of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine, hosted at Umeå University in Umeå, Sweden. MIMS offers an exceptional environment for research into bacterial pathogenesis and parasite cell biology. A vibrant community of virologists is associated with the local university hospital. Researchers with an interest in the structural basis of infection will find an outstanding and highly accessible facility for cryo-electron microscopy.
