The University of Leeds is looking to recruit a Deputy Director for the Astbury Biostructure Laboratory CryoEM facility:

The role will have operational responsibility for all aspects of the ABSL cryoEM facility, leading a team of staff scientists and technicians (currently 6 members). You will also work with the Director and academic community here in Leeds (and beyond) to set and deliver a long term strategy that builds on our vibrant, sustainable cryoEM facility.

The facility currently operates two Titan Krios microscopes each with Falcon-4i detectors, one with Selectris energy filter, together with the ancillary equipment for sample prep, cellular EM, and sample screening that you’d expect. It supports a broad range of cryoEM and cryoET users from Leeds and beyond.
