[3dem] cryoEM EMBO course Birkbeck Sept 2023

Dear EM community,

Registrations are now open for the 2023 Birkbeck EMBO practical course on cryoEM and image processing.
This course will cover image processing for single particle and tomography/subtomogram averaging, from basic theory to practical sessions, and will be taught by an outstanding lineup of speakers and demonstrators.

Applicants will be chosen based on:

  *   Motivation
  *   Level of expertise (some familiarity with structural EM and image processing/linux)
  *   Commitment to cryoEM in the long term
  *   Supervisor recommendation
We will select a maximum of 1 applicant per institution, and ensure a balanced geographical and gender distribution.
We require a motivation cover letter, a CV and a reference from current supervisor, and an abstract describing current research.
