Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) at the University of Hong Kong is an academic research-support centre embracing multi-omics and big data biomedical research under the LKS Faculty of Medicine. CPOS core laboratories host state-of-the-art technology platforms with sophisticated equipment supported by over 70 dedicated members.

The Cryo EM Core is a newly established platform under the management of CPOS. The recruiting of a laboratory manager or assistant manager is now open for applications.

The Role
* Overseeing the daily operation of the LKS Cryo-EM Laboratory
* Providing training to new users and offering technical support, advice, and troubleshooting for research projects
* Managing document handling and preparing reports
* Organizing events and seminars

Qualifications and Qualities
* Master's degree or above in Biology, Physics or other related disciplines in science and engineering
* Prior experience in operating TEM, SEM, or Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) or management of core laboratory is preferred
* Self-motivated, responsible, good communication skills and enjoy team work
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
* Competency in using MS Office
* Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the position of Technical Manager
