[3dem] Postdoc Position at Yale School of Medicine

Dear 3DEM community,
We have an opening for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join the lab of Dr. Sangwon Lee in the Department of Pharmacology at the Yale School of Medicine. The successful candidate will participate in the characterization of molecular interactions involving the endocrine Fibroblast Growth Factor signaling by using a combination of structural, biophysical, and biochemical techniques.
Roles & Responsibilities
·       Recombinant protein expression and purification;
·       Use Cryo-Electron Microscopy to determine the structures of ligand-receptor complexes;
·       Biophysical characterization of molecular interactions;

·       Biochemical analyses to understand the structure-function relationship.
Desired Skills and Experience
·       Structural biologist with a PhD in Biochemistry or the related field;
·       Experience in using Cryo-Electron Microscopy;
·       Experience in protein expression and purification;
·       Experience mammalian cell culture and biophysical analyses is a plus;

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills.
