[3dem] Open positions in in-situ cryoET

Dear community,

My Lab at the University of Michigan Life Sciences Institute has two openings:

1) Postdoctoral fellow: 
Interested in using in-situ cryo-ET/ cryo-CLEM to address membrane remodeling events. Specifically, candidate should exhibit expertise in image/data processing for cryoEM/ET data.
Candidates can start ASAP, but the target start date is negotiable. Postdocs will have unencumbered access to our Leica Stellaris cryo-confocal, Aquilos2, Titan Krios G4i (with K3, Bioquantum imaging filter, and phase plate) housed on-site. Candidates            should have a strong background in protein biochemistry/biophysics, cryo-EM/ET, cell biology, and/or computational biology, have a sense of independence, and should be motivated to push the boundaries of structural biology. Applicants must also have    excellent communication skills and must be finishing or have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a related field by the start date.

2) Research Technician: 
Expertise in molecular biology techniques, cell-culture and protein biochemistry is must. Microscopy (light, electron) knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
