Hi all,
Thank you for your suggestion. Simply killing the tecnai works. No need to reboot the server.
Once again thank you all .

With kind regards,
Jay

Indeed you can kill and restart the TUI and also restarting the whole computer works too. We were once told its due to Windows memory buffer filling up.
Periodic restarts are supposed to prevent it.
Very unsatisfying answer!
Good luck
Sharon

Actually, I think you may simply kill and restart the Tecnai user interface (it’s called PEOUI.EXE in the windows task manager).

Hi,

Yes this is an annoying bug. The only thing that helps is to restart the computer.

Best wishes,

Ottilie
