[3dem] Gatan 626 part

Dear all,
Thank you for the thousand suggestion overnight, I don't think any of my previous posts attracted as much attention. I guess it means we are all fed up with the insane costs of small parts that should be cheap (if not free) but are unfortunately on very expensive pieces of equipment. But I will stop my rant before it starts.

The solution is 2 M5 bolts (I took two from my bike pedal cleats ...).

Hi all,

I am after a little trick, if anyone has one to replace the little black plastic screws that permit to retract the sample protection cover on a 626 holder. The Gatan rep in Australia charges more than $300 per screw .... There are two of them plus a barrel in between.

Does anyone has a hack for this?
