Postdoctoral position in Wolberger lab at Johns Hopkins

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Cynthia Wolberger (https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://wolbergerlab.org__;!!Mih3wA!WSCK8sEPo6bkW2pl1SWPv3iDY45EDmrRan-mA2CyAJlfabYhQOLLLhyt3-vOLS31zg$   ) in the Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. We use cryo EM, x-ray crystallography, and a variety of biochemical and biophysical approaches to study the molecular mechanisms underlying transcriptional regulation and ubiquitin signaling. A particular interest is the role of histone ubiquitination and cross-talk with other histone modifications in regulating transcription and chromatin dynamics. The qualified candidate should have experience in structural biology and/or protein biochemistry. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in cryo EM.
