Dear EM-ers,

We are pleased to announce a three day online symposium on "Cryo-EM Validation in the Age of SARS-CoV-2: Methods, Tools and Applications" which will take place 18, 19 & 20 November 2020.

The meeting has been organised by the UK EM Validation Network to present current thinking on cryo-EM map and map/model validation, and to consider future research directions that anticipate the growing needs in this area. The community effort to apply cryo-EM to structural proteins of SARS-CoV-2 has been a success story but has also highlighted the importance of structure validation.

Registration is free, but is required for attendance. Full details of the meeting, and a link for registration, are available at https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://bit.ly/valid-sars__;!!Mih3wA!UzyZ7wgIRnO1EkGIrwy_VHSfB-jm7GbQCxmB6sgh8ZMXZMWlGxI_kmMHMioySLQjkg$

We look forward to seeing you there,
