A large number of eBIC users are using the unipuck system and shipping accessories for MX experiments.

It would be highly desirable to standardise pucks and shipping systems where possible, both to reduce cost to these groups and offer greater flexibility in shipping capacity across methods.

To this end, Diamond have created a storage and shipping puck that is fully compatible with the unipuck shelved shipping canisters.

Features include space for 10 grid boxes, a magnet-secured, enclosed removable lid and barcoding for inventory tracking.

Within the year, we intend to distribute a shelved storage puck container and puck set to each of the eBIC Block Allocation Groups to encourage uptake and will make engineering drawings publicly available.
