[3dem] Open position @ ScopeM ETH Zurich, Switzerland: technical expert / engineer in electron microscopy

ETH Zurich and its Scientific Center for Optical and Electron Microscopy (ScopeM) has an open position for a technical expert / engineer in electron microscopy with focus on cryo-electron microscopy. ScopeM - as a central scientific technology platform of ETH Zurich - provides resources, services and expertise in light and electron microscopy. It maintains state-of-the art microscopy equipment and supports a variety of interdisciplinary research as well as training programs. ScopeM operates numerous TEM, SEM and FIBSEM, including several instruments dedicated to cryo-EM, notably two 300kV Titan Krioses, the first one equipped with Falcon III & Gatan K2 direct detectors, GIF Quantum LS, as well as phase plate and the second one equipped with Gatan K3 direct detector and GIF Quantum LS. It also includes one 200kV Tecnai F20 equipped with Falcon II direct detector, Orius SC 200 2K CCD camera and GIF.
