There is a postdoc position available at Llorca´s group at the Structural Biology Programme, Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.cnio.es/en/research-innovation/scientific-programmes/structural-biology-programme/macromolecular-complexes-in-dna-damage-response-group/__;!!Mih3wA!SNJhgf69vnY9D2Ov2Esw6TRSFtwSAqLfM6Q0fnb2t2e8h0OqELOQelnBFYwC5xVWRQ$ ).

The position is funded by “la Caixa” Foundation (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://fundacionlacaixa.org/en/__;!!Mih3wA!SNJhgf69vnY9D2Ov2Esw6TRSFtwSAqLfM6Q0fnb2t2e8h0OqELOQelnBFYywgx0OGQ$ ) to determine the structure of membrane proteins using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). The candidates must have sufficient knowledge in cryo-EM and image processing, as well as excellent knowledge of English.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team using biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and cryo-EM to determine the structure and molecular mechanisms of complexes of relevance in cancer and human health.
