The Reichow Lab is recruiting to fill two NIH funded post-doctoral
researcher positions, applying single particle CryoEM and/or CryoET
together with biochemical and biophysical methods to the study of membrane
channels and other macromolecular machines.

The Reichow Lab is located in Downtown Portland OR, at Portland State
University, and is affiliated with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)
and the Pacific Northwest Center for CryoEM (PNCC), providing a
collaborative and supportive training environment with onsite access to
world-class CryoEM instrumentation and high-performance computational
resources. This is a great opportunity to develop independent research
studying biomolecular mechanisms in a vibrant multi-disciplinary training
environment.

Ideal candidates will have a background in one of the following fields:
structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, molecular/cell biology,
computational biology, or similar - with strong written and communication
skills. Experience in CryoEM and/or MD simulation are a benefit, but not
necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop independent research
studying biomolecular mechanisms in a vibrant multi-disciplinary training
environment.



Positions are available immediately, but start dates may be negotiated.
Initial appoints are for 12 months, with the expectation of renewal. Salary
will follow NIH guidelines based on experience. Candidates must have a
Ph.D. (or equivalent) prior to the start date of their position.
