[3dem] Call for Junior Group Leaders in Toulouse, France

The Center for Integrative Biology (https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://cbi-toulouse.fr/eng/__;!!Mih3wA!VENet9sRTvW-WTQApR40ypxm3P6wwYv7JJJvLxXlJRB8U8Ykt-ixS70X4k878Rv3dA$  <https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://cbi-toulouse.fr/eng/__;!!Mih3wA!VENet9sRTvW-WTQApR40ypxm3P6wwYv7JJJvLxXlJRB8U8Ykt-ixS70X4k878Rv3dA$ > ) in Toulouse, a joint research center of the CNRS and the University of Toulouse-Paul Sabatier, has launched new calls for the recruitment of junior group leaders in cellular/developmental biology and in microbiology. 

Although these calls do not formally focus on electron microscopy, we will consider with the greatest interest applications dealing with cryo-electron microscopy projects in structural or cellular biology. 

The CBI will receive in September a new Talos Arctica 200 keV microscope with a Bioquantum-K2 energy filter. Our electron microscopy facility is already fully equipped to prepare molecules and cells for cryo-EM (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www-meti.biotoul.fr/__;!!Mih3wA!VENet9sRTvW-WTQApR40ypxm3P6wwYv7JJJvLxXlJRB8U8Ykt-ixS70X4k9KW-gOsw$  <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www-meti.biotoul.fr/__;!!Mih3wA!VENet9sRTvW-WTQApR40ypxm3P6wwYv7JJJvLxXlJRB8U8Ykt-ixS70X4k9KW-gOsw$ >). 

Toulouse hosts more than 120,000 students and has a long history with electron microscopy. The CBI is a new research center located on the multidisciplinary campus of Paul Sabatier University. It brings together 400 researchers involved in biology at various scales. We would love to see new cryo-EM specialists join our community. 

Applications should be sent before May 12, 2020.
